Knock Outs still suck, though

I noted in an earlier post my disappointment in the purportedly purple color of Angel Face roses upon seeing them in person at the greenhouse. Well, I broke down and bought a bush, and I couldn't be happier with it. No, they're still not Neo Angelique-purple - but the mauve is pleasant, and contrasted with other flowers in an arrangement, they're purple enough where you can't tell the difference. They're quite prolific, too - I'm on my second crop of buds in as many months - and the perfume is as potent as old-fashioned English varieties. If you're looking for an anime-themed addition to your garden - or just a satisfying rose - don't hesitate to pick these up.
