Awesome movie reviews
Sep. 2nd, 2011 11:54 pm*Jason Adams (NSFW from time to time, though these reviews are OK) takes aim at Knowing, fires, and is a deadeye in three little words. Also recommended: his surreal The Happening review and his take on Paranormal Activity, not so much for the review (which is fine) but the tale of the ridiculous advance screening he attended, which is hilarious.
*MaryAnn Johnson writes a Tomb Raider review in the form of a text adventure playthrough.
*Arbogast on Film (frequently NSFW, although this review is fine) posts some startling insight on Paranormal Activity (though the comments include an eye-rolling "hey, what about that premenstrual activity, am I right, fellas?!"; decide for yourself if you want to put up with that). From his site, you can also access his review of the Friday the 13th remake, to which I won't link directly due to NSFW images but which starts off posing the question: "What are we saying when we say that something tastes like ass?"
*Pretty much everything Stacie Ponder writes is gold, but I'll link to her reviews of the ridiculous The Car and her insight into the much-maligned ending of High Tension (spoilers there, obviously).
