Itchy, tasty, derivative, hilarious

I am watching episode 7 of the previously-underwhelming The River  -  spoilers ahead -  and it has mutated into literal Resident Evil right with this episode.  They're in an abandoned, dimly-lit research facility in a South American backwater with zombie bodies in the meat locker and have deciphered by notes left behind in a bloody operating room by the now-dead former occupants that they were performing "genetic experiments" for a "pharmaceutical corporation."  Oh, and they're not alone.

I'll let you know what Alfred Ashford looks like.
