If you haven't played Silent Hill 2, don't read 1Up's 100 Most Essential Games feature on the title, which gives away the crucial turn of the plot. As so many do, the author failed Subtle Hints at J-school and ended up writing a gentle nudge in the ribs as a punch to the gut.
